New Zealand gets tsunami all-clear after quake

A tsunami caused by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake off New Zealand today is small and poses no threat, experts said.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre said no destructive waves were heading for New Zealand’s western coastline after a warning was issued earlier.
