Capsize kills 26 in India
Twenty-six women drowned when two boats capsized in western India.
Police said the passengers, poor farm labourers on their way home from work, had panicked after seeing a bolt of lightning and the boats overturned in the chaos in the Bhandara district of Maharashtra state.
Rescuers saved four passengers and two crew from the Wainganga River. Eight other women were still missing.
