Air France to pay out to crash victims' families
Air France’s chief executive says the company will give about £15,000 (€17,500) as an advance to the families of the victims of the crash of Air France Flight 447 from Rio de Janeiro to Paris.
Phillipe Gourgeon says the company’s lawyers are in contact with the families of the 228 victims from 32 countries - including three from Ireland - to make sure the money gets to them.
