'Police officer killed' in Spanish bomb attack

A police officer in Spain’s Basque region was reportedly killed today when a bomb attached to the underside of his car detonated as he started the engine.

A Basque police official said only that the person inside the car died but he said the attack bore the hallmarks of separatist group Eta.
