Jurors in the kidnap trial of the German who calls himself Clark Rockefeller ended a third day of deliberations yesterday after asking the judge’s advice regarding an insanity defence.

The jury in Boston, Massachusetts, sent a written question to Judge Frank Gaziano yesterday asking if prosecutors had to prove that Rockefeller, whose real name is Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter, knew what he was doing was criminal or morally wrong.
