Murder victim's mother fights back tears in court

The mother of British exchange student Meredith Kercher fought back tears today as she told a court that she would never get over the “brutality” of her daughter’s death.

Giving evidence in Perugia, Italy, at the trial of the couple accused of her murder, Arline Kercher, 63, said she was desperately missing the “conscientious” 21-year-old who was killed while studying abroad.
