UK Attorney General may look to increase sentences in Baby Peter case

The British Attorney General is to consider appealing against the sentences handed down in the Baby Peter case, a spokesman said today.

Patricia Scotland could refer the case to the Court of Appeal if she concluded the sentences were “unduly lenient”.
