Four new swine flu cases in UK

Four new cases of swine flu were confirmed in the UK today, taking the British total to 107.

The British Department of Health said the three children and one adult all came from London.

Three were contacts of previously confirmed cases, while one case is associated with travel.

Thomson and First Choice said today they hoped to resume flights to Mexico from Sunday.

The British Foreign Office is no longer advising against travel to Mexico, where the H1N1 flu outbreak started.

The two companies, and other UK tour operators, have not operated to Mexico for some weeks, with Thomson and First Choice cancelling all flights up to and including this Friday.
