Probe into New York plane crash
Pilot training and fatigue are expected to be the focus of a public hearing into safety issues following the February 12 plane crash near Buffalo, New York, that killed 50 people.
America’s National Transportation Safety Board investigation has found that the pilot of the Dash 8-Q400 Bombardier, a twin-engine turboprop, had not received hands-on training on a critical safety system aboard the aircraft, sources close to the probe said.
