A pregnant British woman held in Laos on drug smuggling charges has been allowed to see a doctor and an embassy official, it emerged today.

A pregnant British woman held in Laos on drug smuggling charges has been allowed to see a doctor and an embassy official, it emerged today.

The British Embassy’s vice consul from neighbouring Thailand met 20-year-old Samantha Orobator yesterday.
