A politician is investigating whether Haitian public money was lost in the alleged Ponzi scheme run by Texas billionaire Allen Stanford.

Politician Steven Benoit is looking into $220m (€166m) reportedly invested by 412 Haitian residents in Stanford International Bank Ltd.
