Somali gunmen kidnap aid workers

Around 25 masked gunmen armed with machine guns kidnapped two European aid workers in central Somalia, colleagues and a witness said.

The Dutch and a Belgian staff members of the Belgian chapter of Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) were missing in the Bakool region, where the attack occurred, said Michel Peremans, a spokesman for the relief agency.
