Chavez praises police sentence 'justice'
Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez praised prison terms of up to 30 years for nine former police officers for the killing of demonstrators in 2002, saying justice had been done .
Former Caracas police chief Henry Vivas, deputy chief Lazaro Forero and city public safety director Ivan Simonovis received 30 years after being convicted of being accomplices to the murder of two pro-government demonstrators, and in the attempted murder of two others and the wounding of a dozen people.
