Bodies found after Baghdad cleric urges gay crackdown

The bodies of two gay men were found in Baghdad’s Shiite slum of Sadr City after a leading cleric repeatedly condemned homosexuality, police said today.

Two men were believed to have been killed on Thursday by relatives who were shamed by their behaviour, police said.
