A company that manages a gas tanker that was hijacked off the Horn of Africa in late January said the vessel has been released. It said the 13-member crew is well and unharmed.

The Longchamp, loaded with liquefied petroleum gas, was hijacked by Somali pirates in the Gulf of Aden on January 29. It is registered in the Bahamas and managed by Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement.
