Police searching for four men missing in a Scottish loch have recovered two bodies, it was confirmed today.

Police searching for four men missing in a Scottish loch have recovered two bodies, it was confirmed today.

The four men are believed to have been out in a small boat in Loch Awe, Argyll.

A search was launched after the men were reported missing at 3.45am.

Strathclyde Police confirmed the bodies of two men were found about two and a half hours later.

The police, Clyde Coastguard and an RAF rescue helicopter were all involved in the hunt.

And a Strathclyde Police spokesman said efforts to find the two men still missing were continuing.

He said: “All available means are being used for the search and the search is still ongoing at present.”

Two of the men involved in the incident are understood to be aged in their 30s, while two are believed to be in their 40s.
