Hamas leaders arrested

Hamas says Israel has arrested at least seven of the movement’s prominent political leaders in a pre-dawn West Bank sweep.

The detentions appear to be an effort to pressure the group after the failure of recent efforts to win the release of an Israeli soldier Hamas is holding in Gaza.
