Rig helicopter ditches in ocean
An oil rig helicopter carrying 18 workers ditched in the Atlantic off Newfoundland, Canada today.
Rescuers said two people were spotted in the water as well as a life-raft, but there was no sign of the helicopter.
A Hercules aircraft and four Cormorant rescue helicopters were heading to the sight.
Meteorologists said winds were strong in the area with six to nine foot waves.
