Teenage gunman kills himself after German school massacre

A teenage gunman shot dead 15 pupils, staff and bystanders at a German school before apparently turning his pistol on himself today.

The 17-year-old, named locally as Tim Kretschmer, the son of a wealthy businessman and gun collector, walked into his old school around 9.30am today and killed nine pupils, three teachers and a clinic worker before fleeing.
