Ten killed, three ministers injured in bomb attack
A suspected rebel suicide blast near a mosque in southern Sri Lanka killed 10 people and wounded three government ministers.
Military spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara said the rebel suicide attack hit early this morning during a ceremony celebrating an Islamic holiday near the mosque outside the southern town of Matara.
Police spokesman Ranjith Gunasekara says the blast killed 10 people and wounded three ministers.
