Holiday flight makes emergency landing
A charter flight carrying 192 people from Manchester to Egypt had to make an emergency landing at Athens today after losing cabin pressure.
The Boeing 757, operated by low-cost airline Jet2.com, landed safely, an airport spokesman said.
Five passengers who complained of difficulties with their ears were taken to hospital as a precaution.
The spokesman said the company was sending another plane to Athens and the passengers would resume their trip "sometime during the night".
