Boy, 15, injured in shark attack

A teenage boy surfing with his father off a popular Sydney beach today had his leg mauled by a shark, marking the area’s third such attack in as many weeks.

The 15-year-old, whose name has not been released, was flown by helicopter from Avalon Beach to a hospital in Sydney, ambulance spokesman Brett Garvey said.
