Pirates have seized a Greek-owned cargo ship with a 22-member crew off Somalia’s coast, according to authorities in Greece.

Pirates have seized a Greek-owned cargo ship with a 22-member crew off Somalia’s coast, according to authorities in Greece.

Greece’s Merchant Marine Ministry said pirates seized the Saldanha, a Malta-registered bulk carrier, this morning. The ship was carrying coal and its destination was Slovenia.
