Sri Lanka navy destroys two rebel boats

The Sri Lankan navy said it has destroyed two Tamil Tiger rebel boats off the north-eastern coast, killing at least six rebels.

Navy spokesman Captain D.K.P Dassanayake said the navy spotted the boats about 10 miles off the north-east coast early today and attacked them, destroying both.
