Think-tank sparks fresh debate over evolution theory

Atheists who link Darwin’s theory of evolution to a “bleak and brutal” view of life are inadvertently fuelling creationist belief, a think-tank claimed today.

Theos, the public theology think-tank, said the automatic assumption that belief in evolution entails an “aggressive” denial of God’s existence was deterring the British public from belief in the theory.
