Octuplets all doing well

All eight babies born in what is believed to be only the second case of octuplets surviving more than a few hours are stable and doing well, doctors said today.

The six boys and two girls were delivered yesterday at the Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Centre in Los Angeles.
