Knife attacker murders Belgian children

At least two children and one adult were stabbed to death in a Belgian nursery today by a man who was arrested as he pedalled from the scene on a bike.

Dozens of others were wounded in the attack in Dendermonde, about 15 miles from Brussels, local ambulance service chief Peter Cleymans said.

Town mayor Piet Buyse said the centre staff were unhurt but "in a state of shock".
