Key Good Friday peacebroker begins work on Obama team

One of the key peace brokers in the North started work today as part of Barack Obama’s revamped US foreign policy.

George Mitchell, who won plaudits for his role in helping secure the Good Friday Agreement, is the new administration’s Middle East envoy.
