Russia’s Gazprom gas monopoly said today that it had restarted gas shipments through Ukrainian pipelines to Europe after halting them nearly two weeks ago amid a pricing dispute.

Russia’s Gazprom gas monopoly said today that it had restarted gas shipments through Ukrainian pipelines to Europe after halting them nearly two weeks ago amid a pricing dispute.

Gazprom spokesman Boris Sapozhnikov said the supply was restarted at around 10.30 Moscow time (07.30am Irish time) and EU-led monitors will track the flow of the gas being pumped into Ukraine.
