French military helicopter crashes into sea

A helicopter carrying French soldiers in a training exercise has crashed off the coast of Gabon, military officials said today.

Military spokesman Lt Col Pascal Carpentier said three soldiers survived, one was confirmed dead and six others who had been aboard were missing.
