Kercher trial remains open to media
The trial of a man and woman accused of killing British student Meredith Kercher will remain open to the media despite concerns about releasing sensitive details of an alleged sexual attack, a judge ruled today.
On the first day of the trial of American student Amanda Knox and her former Italian boyfriend, presiding Judge Giancarlo Massei rejected a request by Miss Kercher’s family to have the proceedings closed to the public and the media.
