Israeli attack sets UN headquarters ablaze

The United Nations Gaza HQ was set on fire by an Israeli bombardment today as the organisation’s chief Ban Ki-moon was in the area on a peacemaking mission.

Ban demanded an immediate investigation into what he called an “outrage” amid reports that the Israelis had used controversial white phosphorous shells.
