Israel agrees to 'humanitarian corridor' in Gaza

Israel said tonight it had agreed to set up a “humanitarian corridor” to ship vital supplies to the people of the Gaza Strip.

The office of prime minister Ehud Olmert said in a statement that the humanitarian corridor idea came from the United Nations Security Council and he accepted it.
