Pakistan 'must have backed' India attacks - PM

India’s prime minister said today the sophistication of the Mumbai siege meant Pakistani authorities must have had a hand in the attacks.

But Manmohan Singh was careful not to directly accuse Islamabad, keeping tensions between the nuclear-armed rivals at a low burn.
