Suspected US missile strike kills three in Pakistan
A suspected US missile strike today killed at least three people in north-west Pakistan, according to intelligence reports.
Pakistani intelligence officers said the men died when a suspected American drone aircraft fired missiles at a vehicle in the South Waziristan tribal region near the Afghan border.
The officials said they received the information about the attack from their local agents.
Pakistani officials were not available for comment.
The US has launched dozens of similar attacks in recent years, mostly targeting Taliban and al Qaida militants who are believed to be hiding in Pakistan’s tribal regions.
