Two hundred feared dead in Gaza
Nearly two hundred people are feared dead in Gaza as the region enters a new era of violence.
It comes after Israeli warplanes bombed Hamas police headquarters earlier.
A further two hundred Palestinians are injured and buildings have been completely destroyed.
There have already been revenge attacks, as militants fire rockets at southern Israel.
Foreign Affairs Minister Micheál Martin is condemning the violence - and he's promising to support all international efforts to ease the situation.
Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said her people have no choice but to defend themselves.
