Egypt’s communications ministry said today the country’s internet service is back up to 60% capacity after being almost entirely knocked out when several undersea cables were cut.

Egypt’s communications ministry said today the country’s internet service is back up to 60% capacity after being almost entirely knocked out when several undersea cables were cut.

The ministry said internet traffic has been shifted from the damaged Mediterranean cables to alternative service providers using cables in the Indian Ocean.
