At least seven coal miners have been killed and 15 injured in a methane explosion in northern Vietnam.

At least seven coal miners have been killed and 15 injured in a methane explosion in northern Vietnam.

Nguyen Van Thuan of the Khe Cham Coal company said rescue workers pulled the dead from a 750-foot-deep tunnel in Quang Ninh province.

Investigators were trying to determine what started the blast, Mr Thuan said.
