Treaty banning cluster bombs to be signed in Oslo

A new treaty banning the use of cluster bombs is due to be signed by more than 100 countries today at a special ceremony in Oslo.

The treaty was negotiated at a conference in Dublin earlier this year, but large arms manufacturers like the US, Russia and China refused to support the move.
