At least 35 dead in Nigerian riots

Mobs burned homes and places of worship and more than 20 people were killed on a second day of post-election sectarian violence today in the central Nigerian city of Jos.

At least 35 people have died since late Thursday night when violence broke out following the first local election in Jos in more than a decade.
