World's oldest person dies at 115

Edna Parker, who became the world’s oldest person more than a year ago, has died in the US at the age of 115.

UCLA gerontologist Dr Stephen Coles said Mrs Parker’s great-nephew told him she died yesterday in a nursing home in Shelbyville, Indiana.
