Female suicide bomber kills five near Green Zone

Iraqi officials says a female suicide bomber has blown herself up near the Green Zone in Baghdad, killing five people and wounding 11 others.

The heavily fortified Green Zone is home to the US Embassy and Iraqi government offices.

Police say that 13 people were killed and seven wounded in a bombing on a Trade Ministry minibus in Baghdad.

The officials say the bombings took place during today’s morning rush hour.
