Iran tests new missile
Iran has successfully test-fired a new generation of surface-to-surface solid-fuel missiles, Iran’s Defence Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar said today.
Najjar said today on state television that the missile, named Sajjil, was a high-speed projectile manufactured at the aerospace organisation, affiliated to the Defence Ministry.
He did not say when the missile was tested.
He described the missile has having “two solid-fuel engines” and a “extraordinary high capability”.
