Israel commemorates Rabin assassination

Israelis are marking the 13th anniversary of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s death at the hands of an assassin opposed to his peace policies.

Government officials are set to attend a ceremony at Mr Rabin’s grave in Jerusalem later today. Other events are planned elsewhere in the country.
