Canada gives first guilty verdict on terror charges

A judge has found a young Canadian guilty of being in a terrorist group accused of plotting to storm the country’s parliament and behead the prime minister.

Superior Court Justice John Sproat ruled that evidence of the plot was “overwhelming”.
