McCain slams 'casino culture' on Wall Street
The US government was “forced” into proposing a $85bn bail-out of insurance giant AIG because of “failed regulation, reckless management and a casino culture on Wall Street”, Republican presidential nominee John McCain said today.
The Arizona senator’s comments come after he flatly rejected the idea of a tax-payer bail-out for the nation’s largest insurer yesterday.
