Suspected bomb goes off at Indonesian airport
Police say a suspected bomb has gone off at an international airport in Indonesia’s easternmost province of Papua.
It is not immediately clear whether anyone has been killed or injured in the blast, which could be heard from three miles away.
Police chief Major General Bagus Ekodanto refused to provide details about tonight’s explosion at Moses Kilangin airport, saying only that authorities suspected it was a bomb.
Members of an elite anti-terrorism unit have rushed to the scene to investigate.
