Zimbabwe power deal 'unlikely this week'

A power-sharing deal between Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe’s government and the political opposition would probably not be signed this week, a state-run newspaper said today.

The Herald’s assessment came despite optimism that Mr Mugabe and his main rival have displayed in public following talks this week.
