Spain to offer chemical castration to sex offenders

Spain intends to offer chemical castration to convicted paedophiles and rapists under a planned penal code reform.

The Interior and Justice Ministers told reporters today that the country also intends monitoring repeat terrorism and sex offenders for up to 20 years after they are released.
