Facebook redesign becomes permanent by end of week

Social networking website Facebook will begin forcing its 100 million users to adapt to its redesign when its old format is removed permanently by the end of the week.

The popular online hangout unveiled a makeover seven weeks ago, but has left it up to users to decide whether they want to switch over to the new look.
